Michael Chiesa is the man for the job, I want to hear him call fights full time. I just think he meshed well with Ron Kruck, and the two person booth is all the LFA should ever use

So the LFA Visited the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota as they tend to do. I really want The LFA to be its own thing, Why? Because of the fights. The fights are so good, the match making is good, the talent spotting is good. What I mean by it being its own thing is, the LFA not depending on using the UFC to gain legitimacy. In my opinion, it doesn’t need the UFC. Anyway, we carry on.

Can you believe we did this without crowds? Is it too soon though? Should it have been 50% capacity, or how about a lower ticket price for a vaccinated spectators? – That would’ve been a great idea IMO. But…Capitalism…Lets go. The Main card was great. Lots of finishes and tons of talking points

Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Masvidal

Usman is a very very smart fighter, and Masvidal didnt respect that. Usman set up this KO by going for takedowns early. Masvidal had has hands low, waiting for the shot, and wasn’t quick enough to dodge the overhand right, and it seemed like Usman put his whole body into that punch. That punch kind of cooled off everything Masvidal was riding on. -The man went weirdly political for a while, after not wanting to go that route, and he kinda had to eat his words after he said that Usman doesnt punch hard. These things happen to you when you talk a lot. I want to see Usman vs Thompson next. I have no idea where Masvidal goes after this. getting KOed after getting cocky is a hell of a thing… I got this pick wrong read more

Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier

This didnt happen like how I imagined it would happen. I thought that Miocic would keep him on the outside and use his jab, but DC decided to go Robocop on Stipe for 3 rounds and got his ass knocked out. Big up to Stipe for finding that body, and then finding the head. I personally think that the body shot is one of DC’s big weaknesses

Nate Diaz vs Anthony Pettis

Do you think that Nate Diaz would come back if he thought that he couldn’t beat Pettis? Not a chance. I don’t think he’ll fight Usman, or any wrestler for that matter. If he fights Masvidal he’ll get his ass whooped also, but I do think this sets up a McGregor trilogy for him. Pettis as no heart, that’s about it. read more

Jon Jones dominated Smith. – This site is called unbroken MMA because there comes a time, when someone has you in the dirt, when you have no path to victory, when you know that winning is not an option, but you don’t give up. I like those moments in fighting, and I cherish them. Anthony Smith was BROKEN in this fight, not beaten, BROKEN. He got broken right after Jones threw a flying knee and busted his face up. He was willing to go out at anytime after that. Smith would not go the route of taking the DQ victory after being broken in that fight- to his credit.
