OK, so the all TV MMA game rolls on. Stipe Miocic took on Daniel Cormier in “The Trilogy” for the UFC heavyweight title, and Stipe was able to come away with the unanimous victory of five rounds. It was a pretty entertaining show. A few heats were broken, but we roll on
Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier
The body shot was still there, the head kick was still there. DC is always trying to convice people that he ‘s fixed things, when its all the same, hes old. Miocic put in a workman like performance to get this victory. IMO Cormier would not have been the greatest Heavyweight in the UFC had he won. Randy Couture is way ahead of him, Stipe is in that argument now, because he tied Randy Couture for the most title fight wins in UFC history. So the fight that I think makes the most sense is Miocic vs Lewis. Stipe already has a win over Ngannou, and Lewis has a win over Ngannou. I like fresh fights in MMA, there are way too many good fighters to be having so many of theses 2s & 3s
Marlon Vera vs Sean O’Malley
A lot of people made money on Vera, the money line was stupid. It was a little unfortunate for O’Malley, but this type of thing happens in fights. “Chito” Vera should a top 10 UFC fighter, but for some reason the UFC hates him. Chito vs Aldo?
Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Junior dos Santos
Bigi boy was able to take some chances and get the KO in this one
Daniel Pineda vs Herbert Burns
Daniel Pineda is experienced, technical, and a 100% killer. What I like in this fight, is that he refused to get Laid and Prayed on. He was able to reverse the position and beat Burns up from a mounted Crucifix. And dont get it twisted, I like Burns a lot, but Pineda is that good
Merab Dvalishvili vs John Dodson
John Dodson did a great job of avoiding the takedown, he did such a great job of avoiding the takedown, that he avoided doing anything else! This was a self-defense fight for Dodson – in MMA you need some offense.
Vinc Pichel vs Jim Miller
Pichel showed a pretty good ground game, and muscled Miller around for 2 rounds to get the win.
Virna Jandiroba vs Felice Herrig
The ground game loos sick. I’ll be looking to see more for Jandiroba
Daniel Chavez vs TJ Brown
I’ll admit that I dont know much about Chavez, and I pick Brown as an unbroken pick. 🤡 Chavez just had faster hands, and the low-kick gave Chavez an advantage in the standup game. I keep saying this, and I’ll say it again, there are 3 ways you deal win low-kick, 1. you kick the person back 2. You come forward and put pressure on your opponent 3. you check the kicks (which does not work against a seasoned leg kicker)
Livia Renata Souza vs Ashley Yoder
Lazy fight from Ashley Yoder, neither of them should be in the UFC
Chris Daukaus vs Parker Porter
Found out somethings about Daukaus and found out somethings about Porter. Good win by Daukaus
Kai Kamaka III vs Tony Kelley
Great fight. Tony Kelley made a great account for himself in this loss too.
I got 7/11 its not bad, I had some fighters on the prelim cards that I wasnt familiar with. This was a tough card to pick overall
