Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier
This didnt happen like how I imagined it would happen. I thought that Miocic would keep him on the outside and use his jab, but DC decided to go Robocop on Stipe for 3 rounds and got his ass knocked out. Big up to Stipe for finding that body, and then finding the head. I personally think that the body shot is one of DC’s big weaknesses
Nate Diaz vs Anthony Pettis
Do you think that Nate Diaz would come back if he thought that he couldn’t beat Pettis? Not a chance. I don’t think he’ll fight Usman, or any wrestler for that matter. If he fights Masvidal he’ll get his ass whooped also, but I do think this sets up a McGregor trilogy for him. Pettis as no heart, that’s about it.
Paulo Costa vs Yoel Romero
Costa is just a younger version of Romero. Big, strong powerful. I don’t know how Romero survived those shots. I’m glad that it went 3 rounds, because now, it tells me some other very positive about Borrachinha
Sodiq Yusuff vs Gabriel Benitez
Benitez paid for trying to bang with this man. Yusuff has been fighting in kill or be killed mode for the last three fights, and he almost got taken out in this one. This sets up a big fight for him.
Derek Brunson vs Ian Heinisch
I thought Heinisch won this one, but I didnt just predict him to win. I predicted him to dominate. None of this happened, so I was a little disappointed in myself. This should’ve been a showcase for the man, but it kinda slipped through his fingers. I realize now that Heinisch’s striking needs some work, and he needs to manage his workrate a little better. Derek Brunson won this on paper, but it was razor close.
Khama Worthy vs Devonte Smith
That’s what I get for picking a fighter that I know nothing about. The fact that these two are buddies and train together is also strange. Was Smith overthinking it? Did he become a victim of the lovefest? Korean Zombie was a victim of the lovefest. BTW that means when you try to be buddies with your opponent in the cage, you lose focus and get knocked out. That’s what I mean by being a victim of the lovefest
Cory Sandhagen vs Raphael Assuncao
This fight is tailor made for Sandhagan. Needless to say, I got this right. I thought the man would get the finish in the second round, but it wasn’t in the cards. This win moves Sandhagen way up in the rankings and puts him among the elite of the division. He needs a nickname though.
Drakkar Klose vs Christos Giagos
I picked Klose because I knew that he was tough, but the man has balls of steel. He came back from adversity to get a great win. I’m impressed
Casey Kenney vs Manny Bermudez
Kenney is elite and dangerous, I need ya’ll to recognize. He fought eight days after knocking out Vince Cachero in LFA, and he was able to roll with Ray Borg and get the win. He’s had a fantastic year this year, and he’s just a true fighter, and seasoned pro.
Hannah Cifers vs Jodie Esquibel
Cifers looked like something was off for this fight. Maybe she was carrying an injury or something, but she just looked like she didnt want to push the pace. Got this right, and Cifers got the win, but something just didnt look right. A lot of people sleep on Cifers
Kyung Ho Kang vs Brandon Davis
Davis just has too many holes in his game to last in the UFC. He’s easy to game plan for. Kang didnt look too impressive, but he was able to eek out the win.
Sabina Mazo vs Shana Dobson
I think that they gave Mazo the absolute worst fighter in her division. Dobson was gassed after the end of the first round, and it seemed like the only thing she wanted to do, was touch gloves with Mazo. I feel so bad getting this wrong. I was just blindly betting against Mazo and not realizing that they could let her fight an absolute can.
