I got this fight right. I didnt think it would end so soon, and I didnt think that a leg kick would cause the ending either. Cannonier is very powerful at the weight class
Alexander Volkanovski vs Jose Aldo
Volkanovski whooped that ass. Aldo didnt even want to win the third round. He had absolutely no urgency. I even predicted a 4th round finish. Joke’s on you guys it only went 3 rounds. 😁
Laureano Staropoli vs Thiago Alves
Both of these guys aren’t very good. I think that Staropoli has the potential to get a lot better, but I think that Alves is washed – He might have the roll of top 15 gate keeper.
Irene Aldana vs Bethe Correira
Does Bethe even care anymore? Missed weight by 5 pounds, and then got caught coming in with a wild shot. I don’t the Aldana is a world beater either. She looked very green.
Ryan Spann vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
I think this one comes down to age. Spann is younger and quicker, and Lil Nog is older-15 years older. I think Spann is sloppy on the feet and a little slow in transitions.
Thiago Moises vs Kurt Holobaugh
Moises’ accuracy impressed me a lot. He looked like a technical monster. Thing is- when you’re a finesse fighter like he is, you can’t keep brute fighters around too long, because you might take some unnecessary damage, so you need to let your submissions count, but I’m very impressed.
Warley Alves vs Sergio Moraes
Moraes looked like he had no business being in there with Alves. He couldn’t get close enough to land significant strikes, and he couldn’t take his opponent down. Warley Alves BROKE Moraes mentally. Alves didnt even give Moraes the satisfaction of going the full 15 minutes. Crushed him with an uppercut. – I made such a poor pick, I knew nothing about Moraes’ heart.
Clay Guida vs BJ Penn
If BJ Penn had quality fights with loses, I wouldn’t have a problem. If there is no retirement, where does he go from here?
Luana Carolina vs Priscilla Cachoeira
Both of these ladies are not very good. Cachoeira is just worse.
Raoni Barcelos vs Carlos Huachin
Barcelos has some speed. The man is dangerous. Huachin was just too green in the UFC
Viviane Araujo vs Talita Bernardo
I thought Gatto was supposed to fight. I don’t have much faith in Bernardo – and for good reason
So I got 9/11 – Not bad, Not counting The Araujo vs Bernardo fight that changed.
