UFC 255 Picks

Back at the Apex for some small-cage fighting, some pandemic fighting, some weird crowd-less fighting. I know there are people that hate the crowds and love the silent in fights, I’m not one of them – For 2 reasons: 1. Because the crowd is a character itself, sometimes when I’m watching these UFC cards, I dont know if they’re in Vegas, I dont know if they’re on Fight Island, I dont know if they’re in Florida, and it really doesn’t matter, there is no crowd, so there really isn’t anything thing to differentiate the venues. And yes, crowds boo and all that, but the crowd also cheers and gives the fighters a little motivation sometimes. I wouldn’t want to rob a hometown fighter of an audience singing his name. Reason 2. The 2nd reason is a simple one: An audience at a fight is NATURAL, If you get into a fight ANYWHERE, people are going to gather around and watch. Fighting behind closed doors is like a domestic situation😒 , and with domestic situations, there would be no rules. Fighting crowd-less is so sterile to me. I cant wait till things get back to normal. When can we at least get to 25%?

Anyway UFC 255 Figgy vs Alex Perez. Figueiredo defends his 125 strap for the first time. Everyone hold their breath and hopes he makes weight.

Deiveson FigueiredovsAlex Perez

The hard hitting hair stylist is ready to show off, and show out. I just think Figueiredo has faced the tougher competition here. Figgy also has a mean streak in him that I personally like. I think It’ll be a very entertaining fight

Valentina ShevchenkovsJennifer Maia

I agree with Lauren Murphy, I dont think Jennifer Maia should be fighting for the title. She got the shot off one win, which is pretty strange. They should just give the fight to Joanne Calderwood coming off the loss. They did it with Romero vs Adesanya. They made Aldo fight for the title coming off a loss… so who cares. I dont understand the UFC match making

Mauricio RuavsPaul Craig

Craig is going to try to take it to the ground. Either way, Rua gets it done

Katlyn ChookagianvsCynthia Calvillo

Calvillo will be a little quicker to the punch here and I think She’ll get the win

Mike Perry vsTim Means

I see Mike Perry stepping in the pocket, eating a shot and knocking Tim Means out

Antonina ShevchenkovsAriane Lipski

Lipski aint great. Antonina is average. I’ll go with average

Alan JoubanvsJared Gooden

Great match making, both are incredibly stiff on the feet. I’ll go with experience, so… Jouban

Kyle DaukausvsDustin Stoltzfus

This is my unbroken pick of this card. Daukaus by finish.

Brandon MorenovsBrandon Royval

The most exciting fight on this card. Moreno is a super intelligent striker right now. OK I was late to the Moreno train, but I think I got on right on time. When the UFC cut Moreno, the man made a noticeable shift, he became quicker smarter, and more deadly, and he also became technical on the ground. Moreno is like a rapper that writes his rhymes down and spits bars, but he’s really into rap history and has a sick freestyle game. The other Brandon, the Royval variety, doesn’t even write rhymes, he spits everything off the dome, all the time, but Royval also went to Julliard for music. 😂 I hope you guys understand my little rap analogy there. Anyway, this one should be a banger

Joaquin BuckleyvsJordan Wright

Joaquin Buckley landed the KO of the year a month ago, but this boy has some good weapons overall. He has fantastic power in his hands, and he has a weird gas tank. The gas tank is weird, because he’s built like a superhero, but he fights at a high pace, and he doesn’t gas out. He also floats around the cage, very very well. Jordan Wright “The Beverly Hills Ninja” has a few tricks, but I think Buckley gets it done

Louis CoscevsSasha Palatnikov

I was impressed with Cosce on the Contender Series I see him getting the finish here

Nicolas DalbyvsDaniel Rodriguez

I see Rodriguez getting the win here
