So, the UFC train is still chugging a long, and it seems like we MUST put out a pay-per-view product to the masses, even though one is not warranted right now. The things that multi-billion corporations do for the almighty dollar… At this time. I would just like to see the UFC put out “free” ESPN content and use only young fighters. The young fighters need the money, people dont want to pay for a lack-luster pay-per-view (UFC 250) right now, and the big fights could wait till most of the pandemic is over and people are back to work. What do I know… on to the fights
Amanda Nunes | vs | Felicia Spencer |
Spencer is a worthy title challenger in a very thin division. Very thin. like thin thin. Like 4-5 ladies. Anyway I think that Amanda Nunes just has better striking and will take this one. Spencer is tough and she has a good ground game, but her boxing is the thing that is going to have to shine here if she wants to make some noise
Raphael Assuncao | vs | Cody Garbrandt |
Seems like they only give Garbrandt super tough fights. This is a tough fight to come back to after a layoff. Assuncao is pretty damn technical and will be looking to mix all forms of MMA in this fight
Aljamain Sterling | vs | Cory Sandhagen |
This is the real Co-main event. I’m a big fan of both guys. In my mind I just think that Sandhagen makes less mistakes than Sterling. They are both good on the ground. This should be an interesting fight
Neil Magny | vs | Anthony Rocco Martin |
The boy-scout Magny will be looking to build on his last win. Martin is tough, but he’s a little one dimensional at times. Magny’s weakness is the ground, and I dont think that this will be going to the ground
Sean O’Malley | vs | Eddie Wineland |
Wineland can be incredibly stiff, and O’Malley is the opposite of that. Wineland is going to have to have something up his sleeve to come out on top in his fight. I see O’Malley by KO
Chase Hooper | vs | Alex Caceres |
This is a favorable matchup for Hooper. Caceres is not that great on the ground, and he doesn’t really have a devastating striking game
Ian Heinisch | vs | Gerald Meerschaert |
Meerschaert’s strength is his grappling, and Heinisch has great technical grappling. He has a problem when it comes to mixing grappling and striking though
Cody Stamann | vs | Brian Kelleher |
Cody Stamann is a good wrestler. Brian Kelleher… he’s something else – Tough, reckless, gritty. Did I say reckless? Yes, very reckless. He’s also a complete gentleman in the cage. I usually don’t like to pick fighters that fight recklessly, because that style usually catches up with them, I think Kelleher has a couple more fights before it catches up with him.
Charles Byrd | vs | Maki Pitolo |
Byrd is coming back from a Layoff, and I expect him to get a comprehensive victory over Pitolo. The Fortis MMA training will be on display here
Jussier Formiga | vs | Alex Perez |
Formiga will pick up the win here. We will realize how good Brandon Moreno actually is, as he beat Formiga in their last bout
Alonzo Menifield | vs | Devin Clark |
Menifield is coming off a pretty good layoff. I think he picks up the win here
Evan Dunham | vs | Herbert Burns |
The Burns brothers get busy. They get busy on the ground, and more recently, they’ve been getting busy with their hands. Dunham? I’m not a big fan of his, but this is a crucial UFC fight for him. He will be trying to avoid his 3rd loss in a row. A nice fight for the curtain-jerker here
The O’Malley at UFC 250 Call will be unBroken
