Contender Series Grades Week 9 and 10

ALL CONTENDER SERIES 2019 GRADES

So that’s it. Its over. For this year at least. There were some guys on the show that deserved contracts that didnt get them for one reason or another.

There were some killers, that fought other killers and got a tough shake, and there were some guys that got in because Dana liked their personality.

I learned that Kasanganay was not a Layup for Kailan Hill

Here are grades of some of the talent on the show. These grades are only based on their Contender Series performance, and not their performance before in other organizations

Philip Rowe, Duško TodorovićPeter Barrett and T.J. Brown were offered contracts

Summary

  • Steele and Caracappa aren’t ready for the UFC
  • Martin cant punish a girl that lacks technique
  • Garcia was the best on week 9’s card but missed weight
  • Pogues is super green and has no power. Brigagao is begging to get KOed
  • Rowe almost got KOed by a grappler.
  • TJ Brown is very athletic, but has a lot to learn technically Lockard is also very good – Lockard deserves another shot.
  • Eye poke on Sosoli from Dustin Joynson, so No Contest
  • I believe Yoo won that fight and did more damage on Barrett. Yoo gassed himself out, trying to finish the fight
  • Impa Kasanganay was able to use excellent footwork and control the big powerful Kailan Hill.
  • Teddy Ash is a street fighter, and if Todorovic keeps his hands down like that in the UFC, he’s gonna get set up, and knocked out
