You use this site to get a gist of how fighters are, before they hit the big leagues. I like that. I like seeing how fighters evolve over time. After you look at how I think they did, by all means -watch the fight!! There is no substitute for that.

Anyway, we were at the LFA Apex (Park City, Kansas) for LFA 98. The Kansas commission is very responsive. They enjoy their MMA fans and they are just some common-sense folk. Even though I dont agree with the open scoring in Kansas, the Kansas commission is easily one of the best MMA commissions out there, and that’s why LFA is in that State right now. At LFA 98 Josh Fremd beat Bruno Oliveira in the LFA Middleweight semi-finals, to move on to the finals. Fremd will face either Anthony Adams or Gregory Rodrigues in the final. read more

So LFA 93 Went down in Park City, Kansas. A good show. Not as good as I thought it was going to be though. I thought Sam Hughes was going to fight Cynthia Arceo, and for some reason I thought I’d get to see Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady. For the most part the show delivered. The LFA went with the live scoring option from the Kansas commission for the 2nd time… Live scoring… its…. OK. Its only useful if they think that the judges aren’t scoring the fights at the correct times. -If that is the case, I think the judges should submit their round by round results to a representative of the promotion, they dont have to show the scores to the corners. When they show the scores to the corners, It takes away some of the drama of the fight, its also gives some fighters an incentive to play it safe. Eh… that’s just my 2 cents.
