LFA, doing what they do. I had to pick between watching LFA 105 and the PFL. I chose the organization that uses all the MMA rules. LFA – Full MMA
Main Event
Round 1
Gotsyk with a lot of movement, and lands some big shots
Round 2
Gotsyk lands some big counters but Rodriguez comes back and lands some big shots
Round 3
Close Round
Round 4
Back and fourth
Round 5
Gotsyk shoots for a takedown and Rodriguez is able to reverse it and get to back mount. Rodriguez rains down strikes. 🚩Rodriguez wins by TKO
Usually LFA champs can go straight to the UFC. I dont think this is the case for these ladies. Rodriguez has better strikes, but her footwork is atrocious. Gotsyk has good footwork, but she looks like a pad-hitter. I’m just not impressed. I think they rushed into crowning a new LFA strawweight champ. Maybe Gotsyk was booked, and they had to find someone to fight her on short notice. Anyway, I think Loveth Young awaits
2020 was Broken, for the most part. But we got fights! This is a list of what was unbroken on the site last year, complete with dates!
Jan. 10 I started off with an Unbroken Pick of Ode Osbourne over Brian Kelleher at UFC 246. That pick was indeed broken. It was a bad pick guys. poor
Jan. 12 At XKO 48 John Pham was unbroken. Also known as John Tao, and John Tao Pham. Tell that man to go by one name
Jan. 18 At LFA 80 Pat Miletich on the broadcast was unbroken
Jan 19 My Carlos Diego Ferreira pick over Anthony Pettis at UFC 246 was unbroken. Perfectly unbroken, Picked the winner, the round and the method. Again my Ode Osbourne pick on that same card was wrong
So, the LFA is back. The show took a very long break, and the pandemic really crushed some of the fighters. The pandemic is doing a number on all contractors actually. Its not good, but, we are slowly trying to get back to where we were. The LFA was in Sioux Falls South Dakota for LFA 84
Main Event
Round 1
Gonzales boxes up Childers, lands a big knee, takes Childers down and pounds on him.
Round 2
Gonzales rocks Childers then tries to go to work on the ground again. Childers uses a Kimura to turn the tables, going for a Rear Naked Choke, a head and arm choke and a von Flue choke. Gonzales scrambles out of all of them.
So the LFA Visited the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota as they tend to do. I really want The LFA to be its own thing, Why? Because of the fights. The fights are so good, the match making is good, the talent spotting is good. What I mean by it being its own thing is, the LFA not depending on using the UFC to gain legitimacy. In my opinion, it doesn’t need the UFC. Anyway, we carry on.
Main Event
Round 1
Pogues is looking for one shot to finish this fight. Polizzi is better in scrambles, beats up Pogue’s body and gets a huge slam
The LFA was in Prior Lake, MN. The main card was a little bland, but learned about the fighters, and we saw what some of the local talent had to offer.
Main Event
Round 1
Allen comes out hard and takes Murrietta down. Murrietta looks like he’s out of ideas when he’s on his back, and Allen looks slow on top. At times Allen is just holding Murrietta down
Round 2
Murrietta comes out hard. Allen comes back with a combo of his own and then takes Murrietta down. Allen gets in full mount and begins to throw short shots, but he’s not doing a lot of work
