I hate being able to chose between which high level promotion I want to watch. LFA and Bellator, get your stuff together. Great fights. I picked the LFA, 1. Because I like to see young talent & 2. I cover LFA. I only cover LFA because they started in Texas BTW. And it looks like I’ll be covering A LOT more Fury FC now that they’re on FightPass and their production has gotten a lot better. Gilbert Melendez was great on the mic, at this show

Round 4

Round 5

Same, stagnant.🚩 Willis wins by Unanimous decision

It was a pretty stagnant fight. Willis ate a lot of low kicks, and was on the back foot all fight. Neither guy really wanted to clinch. de Jesus was coming forward, but not really offering much with the hands. This fight was basically two, average-to below average boxers, boxing. de Jesus has very strange fights, (case in point, his fight with Jerimiah Wells) I don’t know if guys just dont want to put hands on him, or if he just has a reputation for doing awesome things on the ground, but guys usually want to stay away from him. de Jesus has a great chin though… So there’s that. There is a case to make that de Jesus won this fight, but I didn’t really care, because neither guy really put their stamp on this fight. Pretty standard linear fight. read more
