Francis NGannou vs Stipe Miocic
I got this call wrong, very wrong, I thought that Stipe could wear him out and win with the wrestling, and the firefighter got a little wild and walked right into a left hook. I also thought that it was a HUGE mistake that Stipe came in a little lighter in this fight. If Stipe’s gameplan was to clinch, I think he would’ve came in heavier. Ngannou also got better, The low kicks were good, the sprawl was good, he was more efficient, and he wasn’t wild. Dare I say it? Ngannou was technical. OK so, Ngannou has several fights lined up. Next for the Cameroonian-French man should be Jon Jones, but if the UFC doesnt want to pay Jones, I could see them letting Ngannou fight Derrick Lewis, but Jones has a trump-card; maybe people dont want to see the Ngannou vs Lewis fight again. There is also a Stipe Miocic trilogy on the table for Ngannou, that Stipe Miocic 100% deserves
Vicente Luque vs Tyron Woodley
Luque ate a huge bomb from Woodley, and nailed the Chosen One with an even bigger bomb, and wrapped up a D’arce choke. Luque IMO is THE most exciting Welterweight in the world, across every promotion, that I know of. I got this call right
Sean O’Malley vs Thomas Almeida
O’Malley outclassed Almeida from bell to bell. The good thing about this is, O’Malley got valuable cage time. Sean O’Malley seems to be deathly afraid of the ground…O’Malley vs Stamann?
Miranda Maverick vs Gillian Robertson
Maverick had a bad weight cut and still did well in this contest, and what I like about it, is she knew it, she knew that she wasn’t as sharp as she usually is. I personally scored all three rounds for Maverick
Jamie Mullarkey vs Khama Worthy
Mulllarkey is tough and slick, He’s had some tough fights in the UFC and some bad breaks, I’m glad he was able to get back on track today. I got this call right
Alonzo Menifield vs Fabio Cherant
Cherant had an expensive half pound on his body for this fight, but he got to the UFC. Menifield showed his experience, as simple as that
Abubakar Nurmagomedov vs Jared Gooden
Nurmagomedov showed that he is a better striker than Gooden, and that he actually has good classic fundamental boxing. He just needed that 3rd round lay and pray to wrap up the victory
Michal Oleksiejczuk vs Modestas Bukauskas
I got this right, and the judges got this right. Bukauskas spent round 1 & 2 running and eating the more impactful shots. Oleksiejczuk deserved the win
Omar Morales vs Shane Young
Morales looked flat, he looked very flat, and gun-shy. I dont know if it was the weight-cut, I dont know if Young hit harder than he thought, he just looked off. It says a lot about Shane Young, that Morales was off and still won
Marc-Andre Barriault vs Abu Azaitar
Big win for Barriault. Azaitar looked heavy and laboring, like he was barely training on his time off. I knew Barriault had something for Azaitar when I saw both of them at the stare-down: Azaitar put his finger in Barriault’s face and then afterwards gave him a friendly pat, he didn’t know if he was mad at him or wanted to be friends with him. It just screamed nervousness to me.😂 I got this pick wrong
I got 8/10 I missed the big one though
My Maverick pick remained unbroken
