The LFA moved Park City, Kansas, a more central Location for LFA 92. Askar Askar beat Kevin Wirth in the three round main event, by unanimous decision

Main Event

Askar Askar vs Kevin Wirth – Bantamweight

Round 1

Askar takes away kicking range and drops Wirth with a right and takes mount. Askar does work on the ground and Wirth is able to stand.

Round 2

Askar takes Wirth down, Wirth is able to reverse the position. They stand and throw one shot at a time.

Round 3

Askar gets the takedown and lays and prays for the win. 🚩 Askar wins by unanimous decision

Askar took away the kicking range, and Wirth was almost handicapped. The striking isn’t anything to write home about

Antonio dos Santos Jr vs Andre Fialho – 180 lbs – dos Santos missed weight

Round 1

Lots of kicks, dos Santos does a little bit more. Both guys content to eat each other’s shots

Round 2

dos Santos is beating up Fialho, and then Fialho rocks dos Santos, but dos Santos Comes back

Round 3

dos Santos Rocks Fialho, takes him down to the floor and beats him up.🚩 dos Santos wins by unanimous decision

Fialho looks stagnant, dos Santos looks sloppy

Brian de Rosario vs Dakota Bush – Lightweight

Round 1

Bush punches his way in and gets the takedown, he works to the back and gets the RNC. 🚩Bush wins by submission

de Rosario didn’t even get started. Bush just showed his experience

Jacob Thrall vs Rickey Furar – Bantamweight

Round 1

Furar gets the takedown, and is able to survive a Thrall guillotine. Furar spends most of the round on top

Round 2

Leg kicks by Thrall, then Thrall decides to wrestle for some reason, and comes up 2nd best in the positions

Round 3

Thrall gets slammed by Furar, and gets his knee blown out.🚩 Furar wins by TKO

I think Thrall is the more talented fighter here, but he wants to wrestle for some reason. Thrall was throwing great kicks and was doing well in the striking, then he got the itch to to wrestle, and got out-wrestled. Furar has pretty good wrestling, but his stand-up game looked horrible

Rodney Kealohi vs Mefi Monterroso – Flyweight

Round 1

Kealohi comes out and fires a kick to the the body. Monterroso goes for a Superman punch, and Kealohi goes for a Flying knee to the body, at the same time, the Flying knee wins, and Monterroso goes down in a heap. Kealohi finishes the fight on the ground. 🚩Kealohi wins by TKO

Monterroso looked small in the matchup, and the kicks from Kealohi looked intriguing, even though I didn’t get to see a lot of them.

Ali Zebian vs Slava Borshchev – Lightweight

Round 1

Borshchev hammers the legs and throws some front kicks. Zebian is able to get the takedown, but Borshchev is able to get back to his feet a throw some spinkicks and switchkicks

Round 2

Zebian Clinches, Borshchev gets free and hammers the legs, and scores with some punches

Round 3

Borshchev kicks Zebian all around the cage. 🚩Borshchev wins by unanimous decision.

All Zebian wanted to do was grapple, and he looked like an average grappler at best. Borshchev has good kicks, but he needs to prepare for better grapplers with a style like his

Christian Natividad vs Jose Holguin

Round 1

Natividad lands an overhand right, then drops Holguin with a left, and finishes the fight with another right. 🚩Natividad wins by KO

Holguin did not have his hands up for some reason, and he was approaching Natividad like the man was going to tell him a secret or something. A hard lesson for your first pro-fight was dealt to Holguin
