Fremd starts out with Jabs. Rodrigues is patient and rocks Fremd. Rodrigues settles down and KOs Fremd with a 1-2. 🚩Rodrigues wins by KO
At range Fremd looked a little out of his element. when the fight slows down, Fremd looks a little out of ideas. When there is chaos, that’s when Fremd shines. Rodrigues didnt look that special to me, but he was composed, he is the LFA middleweight champ, and he will be in the UFC
More LFA at the Sanford Pentagon. LFA 89 rolls a long. I kinda miss the different cities that the LFA travel to. Each city has a different feel, and I really miss the fan experience in the LFA. -More so than the UFC
Brant Moore was able to grapple himself to a unanimous decision victory over Joe Giannetti in the Main event of LFA 89
So, its LFA 80, its the new year. Its a new Fight Pass production, its more fights, more prospects and same old face punching, the LFA rolled into Albuquerque, New Mexico to check out their talent
Garcia rocks Mariscal twice on the feet and wildness ensues. Garcia look bigger and stronger, but he also looks very sloppy. Mariscal is wild, and breaking all the rules when it comes to fighting, sometimes he gets punished, sometimes he gets away with it.
Round 2
Garcia gets his opponent down and hits Mariscal with some hard ground and pound shots, they stand and Garcia starts to hammer Mariscal with shots up against the cage and the ref stops it.🚩 Garcia Jr. wins by TKOread more
I usually love the LFA. Every time I watch a show they usually show me someone new and that is interesting, not today. This Sioux Falls, South Dakota show was a little disappointing. A lot of fighters at the local level definitely have what it takes to to fight at the next level, but the fighters on this particular card have to make massive improvements if they what to move up
Park is so stiff, he’s just asking to get KOed. He fights a little bit like Justin Gaethje- anyway Park eats a few combos in the beginning. Park throws some kicks to create distance and then he rocks Jackson with a right hand. He puts Jackson on the ground and then he rains down punches. The referee stops it at the bell. 🚩 Park wins by TKOread more
MMA is back to full capacity in Texas, Fury FC 44 took place at the Bayou City Event center in Houston, TX and this was the first event for Fury on UFC FightPass. I’m so glad that its on FightPass because paying for some of the Fury events can be rough… I mean the fights are good, but some of the production can be absolutely horrible. With the FightPass deal, the production is significantly beefed up
This show had Prelims and Postlims, in between those, the main event showcased CJ Vergara vs Jacob Silva for the Fury FC Flyweight title. These two top level flyweight had a war, and CJ Vergara captured the Fury FC Flyweight title, by TKO in the 3rd round, in one of the best fights I’ve seen across any promotion, this year, so far. Check out my Best in Texas postread more
Surprise! The LFA isn’t gonna be on AXSTV anymore. Isn’t that a fantastic surprise? I’m guessing that they want to get into the wrestling market and just be an all wrestling all the time channel, or something like that. I’ve actually kept a cable package just for AXSTV, just for the LFA. That’s it. And whatever platform the LFA is on, I’m going to watch it, just like LFA 76
Pat Miletich really grew on me. Ron Kruck is great at calling fights, and conveying the mood of the area. I’m really gonna miss itread more
