I remember when I used to want to watch Fury FC and I couldn’t, lol I remember watching Fury FC online, and I was watching fights that were streamed by Mike “The Truth” Jackson. Now Fury is on FightPass, The camera work is a little slow, but the production is a lot better and the talent is still very rich

MMA is back to full capacity in Texas, Fury FC 44 took place at the Bayou City Event center in Houston, TX and this was the first event for Fury on UFC FightPass. I’m so glad that its on FightPass because paying for some of the Fury events can be rough… I mean the fights are good, but some of the production can be absolutely horrible. With the FightPass deal, the production is significantly beefed up

This show had Prelims and Postlims, in between those, the main event showcased CJ Vergara vs Jacob Silva for the Fury FC Flyweight title. These two top level flyweight had a war, and CJ Vergara captured the Fury FC Flyweight title, by TKO in the 3rd round, in one of the best fights I’ve seen across any promotion, this year, so far. MMA in Texas is back! At 50% capacity, but that’s better than no capacity. I tuned in to Fury 43 broadcasting from Humble, TX. We got to hear the crowds scream at an event for the first time in a long time. And I think the UFC should think about coming to Texas. 50% ain’t too shabby. The fights… I didn’t think the pro fights were very good. The amateur fights showcased some upcoming talent. Anyway in the main event featured Nico Echeverry beating Edmilson Freitas for the Fury FC Lightweight title read more

I’ve been kinda keeping up with the Fury promotion. They have great talent down there in Houston. The atmosphere is good, but the judging is soooooo bad. You guys saw it at UFC 247. It can get down right horrible at times, and I really think there is legit corruption there. I cant prove it, but the scores just dont make any sense.

Main Event

Christian Lira vs Jacob Silva – Featherweight – Fury FC title

Round 1

Silva bounces well, throws some good single strikes. He backs up and rocks Lira with a flying knee and is able to get him down and beat him up. 🚩Silva wins by TKO read more
